Privacy Policy – Thinkathon

We collect personal information from you when you fill out the application form to participate in the Thinkathon. This privacy policy states what information we collect and how we use it. By applying to participate in the Thinkathon using the application form, you are assumed to be in agreement with this privacy policy.

Information You Provide to Us

When you register for the Thinkathon, you provide us private information using the application form. This information is used for the purpose of identifying and communicating with you, the event participants.
With the application form, the following data are gathered:

  • your first and last name
  • information about your study program and semester, or work and faculty, respectively
  • interests, previous skills and knowledge, and other information relevant for the event organization
  • names of people that you mention in the application form

How Your Information is Used

We may send you announcements and event-related reports. These will be sent by email.

The private information that you share using the application form will not be used for marketing purposes, or be shared with third parties unless legally obliged to share.

Retention and Deletion

Your personal information will be deleted six months after the Thinkathon event has ended.
